I simply can't imagine "dropping dead" whilst sitting in the front row of a fashion show! How embarrassing for the designer and hugely awkward for the models, attendees and ushers and thoroughly unfortunate for the deceased and their family. What does one do when this happens?....
Well it did happen at the last Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, in the front row of the Joanna Mastroianni Fall 2012 showing at Lincoln Center for a venerated & legandary fashion icon and New York social fixture named Zelda Kaplan, who was apparently loved by all!
Talk about a "die hard" fashion plate! No pun intended and not to make lite of this, but how did I miss this? Apparently it was on the cover of The Post etc,etc etc. That just goes to show you that fashion can literally be the "be all and end all" WOW, I was shocked when I heard this story last night at a smart U.E.S gathering. But what a way to go....just as she lived...in Fashion!
